Taller storytelling

This workshop / course considers the following outputs or achievements:

  • Story ideation and formulation skills
  • Elaboration of an essential, identity-based narrative
  • Short and brief texts, like slogan, that are meaningful and representative for the team members

Inputs required:

  • Objectives, purpose, mission, and vision team (self-diagnosed)
  • Optional: tentative storyboard

Methodology:

  • Exercising communication skills in workshop format
  • Case analysis: examples applicable to the target group’s organizational reality
  • Design and development of a personal project with applied “storytelling” techniques

Session 1: What is storytelling?

  • Why telling stories?
  • What a story is and how it is created?
  • Exercise: information vs story + emotion

Session 2: How to tell a story?

  • Story structure
  • Story and perspective according to audience
  • Exercise: story cube

Session 3: What are the uses of storytelling?

  • Purpose and effect intended for audiences
  • Case analysis
  • Exercise: narrative to create attention

Session 4: My Storytelling

    • Design of personal story
    • Preparation for personal presentation
    • Exercise: final presentation / Feedback and end of the workshop
